Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) encourages participants to recognize that they can best find their own answers to the conflicts they encounter. There are three levels of AVP training: Basic, Advanced, and Training for Facilitators. All workshops last for three days and emphasize building community among participants.

Volunteer Opportunity
   
 

 

Extended Service Volunteer with good listening and writing skills to go to Kenya for three weeks or more to assess the AVP and HROC workshops done in 2008. Volunteer will need to raise his/her own airfare and $100 per week living expenses. Click here for more information or email Dawn Rubbert


AGLI has developed HROC. HROC workshops take 10 people from one side of a conflict with 10 people from the other side and has a three day workshop to restore normal relationships between the two sides.
