Upcoming Documentary: Icyizere: Hope
Icyizere: Hope is a full length documentary film directed and produced by Patrick Mureithi showing the healing and reconciliation possible between mortal enemies after the genocide in Rwanda in 1994 and the Civil War in Burundi from 1993 to 2005. The film documents the progress that enemies can achieve towards restoring normal inter-ethnic relations. Two three-day Healing and Rebuilding Our Community workshops, one in Rwanda and one in Burundi, are covered with special emphasis on one member of each community, Tutsi and Hutu.
